Description

Since I've started a fun-fun Rp with these two I thought I'd take my hand at drawing them, and I haven't properly in a long while. ... .That’s my excuse for why they look crappeh! Don't look at the bottoms of Jen's pants! D:

Anyways, I shall attempt to give their history together some justice... gah.. It’s so loverly and twisted...

Brittany :iconinkmouth: who owns Origin and all the other characters in the story can feel free to correct me with words or a wiffle bat. Whatever she sees fit.

Erm, well, for it you'll have to know some of the supporting characters.

Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde: Yes, this story grouping involved those two; I like my friend's version of them the best. They hate each other but share one body, and there's mirrors all over their place so they can talk to each other, over the two/three years we have been Rping they kind of have come to a truce, Hyde decided friends aren't all that sappy and protects those few he considers friends quite fiercely. Make no mistake, we have not dampened him down, he loves tearing baddies apart as much as he ever did. Jekyll is a worried man and a fatherly type, gentle and always willing to help. Used to nearly drive himself to madness trying to keep Hyde from hurting innocent people, now brings him out willingly when there's fighting that needs to be done.

Fredrick: Twenty some-odd years ago he was a six-year-old cute little boy who accidentally discovered the corruption of the Government. As such, they had him killed horribly. They gave him some kind of illness that makes a person appear as though they are dead for three days then get better, but he was buried in those three days, and suffocated in the coffin. In present Rp day he wandered around, still cute, still physically six, but he is dead. Not quite a zombie, he breaths oddly enough, but his hair is white I think and his skin darkish grey. His eyes are the freakiest thing on him, and his lips are dark.

Adam: Someone who came to Dr. Jekyll for his special 'skin condition'. His parents are separated now, he lives with his Father and misses his Mother very much, he talks to her a lot and she lives in America. Adam's father is a vampire, but is devoutly Christian and b eats Adam if he does anything 'out of line.' Needless to say Adam spends a lot of time away from home; he doesn't really have any cool powers and slowly burns when in contact with sunlight. He carries around an umbrella and has really pale skin, he also gets harassed by other people a lot who taunt him as a vampire but he does his best to ignore them.

Okay... hm, I'll do a little explanation on these two as well then.

Jen: Young woman that aspires to be an actress, she lives on her own until the beginning of the story. She is stubborn and fiercely loyal to those she sees as friends, a bit rude or brash too if her patience has been tried and she does not like who she is talking to.

Origin: Mad Scientist all the way. He has a huge lab/fortress and has over the years altered his body, trying to ';perfect' himself by his own means. He has also made many, many clones of himself that oddly enough all have different personalities. His personal clones that look just like him are more variated, the ones he made for the Corrupt Government now-a-days that originally killed Fredrick, or was the cause of his death, have the same glass eye and claw but they look a bit different and are all soldiers. They're called Parchment Men.

Okay... jeez... I want to stop already... T-T

Okay, so one day it's raining and that's when Jen meets Jekyll 'cause he puts his umbrella over her. I have the comic somewhere.... mew...

Anyways, I forget how, but she comes to start living in the good Doctor's much-too-large-for-one-person house. He ends up being like a Father to her, it's cute. But one time while out Jen encounters Fredrick, she does not know that he is dead and asks him if he is lost. Until this point Fredrick had just woken up and was wandering in this slightly strange world aimlessly, so he said that he was lost and that he would like help.

From then one Jen takes care of Fredrick like a little brother, they get really close and more cuteness.

Unfortunately Mr. Corrupt Government learns that he was not dead permanently and the two of them get attacked by Parchment Men, who hint at Fredrick's dedness and confuse Jen. The little guy takes a 'most likely fatal to Jen' zap from one of them and is fried. But he's not redead, yay! Anyways Jen freaks out and gets restrained by the guy when she tries to go to Fredrick. He's going between man-handling her and lining her up to be killed as well when Hyde comes out of the shadows and pwns the guy.

He tells Jen to run away, she won't leave without Fredrick and Hyde holds off another Parchment man while Jen picks the boy up and runs away, almost crying and whispering for him to be okay. Fredrick speaks and Jen's overjoyed, he's hurting but awake. Little does she know that would have killed him dead, if he was not already so.

Unfortunately they run into two more Parchment men and Jen gets drugged by their weapon of choice, loaded syringes. She's out and Fredrick is captured, he does not react so well to the chemical injected. Hyde turns around and is like 'I can't turn my back on you for two minutes!' and gets jumped from behind, also drugged and they all get taken to Origin's fortress.

There Jen wakes up, in restraints, and Fredrick's still unconscious while Hyde's tied to a chair and still under partial effects of the drug. Origin introduces himself in a gentlemanly fashion and it's rather clear to see the man's insane. They do a bit of bantering, then while Hyde objects Origin injects him with something had has him PAINFULLY turn back into Jekyll. Up until this point Jen had thought that they were two different people. Jekyll apologizes for having deceived her and stuff and Origin's displeased when Jen tells him that this does not weaken her trust in her friends or anything.

Origin continues to tell Jen other disturbing stuff about her friends and eventually reveals that Fredrick’s actually dead and should be twenty-six, older than she is. Of course she does not believe him, but by this time Fredrick's awake and starts apologizing to her. Blah blah and Jen passes out. Origin had not mentioned that when a person has taken that drug that's like liquid chloroform and gets stressed, it's REEEEALLY bad for their health. Jekyll's all like 'you overtaxed her mind on purpose! You bastard!' and Origin does not deny it. He's a totally horrible person at this point.

Well, while ignoring Jekyll and Jen Origin goes to torture Fredrick because of his INTENSE arachnophobia Hyde becomes dominant again and he breaks out of the ropes to lay a smack down on Origin and hogtie him. After getting the other two loose he carries Jen out and Fredrick can walk on his own.

How's that for a first meeting, eh?

Jen's out for days, Jekyll takes care of her and stuff and poor Fredrick's being Emo somewhere.

After Jen wakes up at some point Origin makes his move again, kidnapping Fredrick and the others take a trip to go save the little guy. During such Origin does not KILL them, but separates their spirits from their bodies. Yeah, I don't know how either, he's ingenious like that. Anyways Hyde and Jekyll are now out at the same time since they share one body, and Jen's floatin' too, they leave their bodies behind in Origin's clutches to go and guide Fredrick to safety through a maze of mirrors. Why does Origin have a maze of mirrors? 'Cause he's friggin' crazy, that's why.

Yes, so, while they're gone Origin is bored so begins to experiment on Jen's body while she is not inhabiting it. Mostly chemical stuff from the neck-up. When they get Fredrick out and return Jen reenters her body and Hyde claims the other one, I think Jekyll was free-floating for a while. Anyways, Jen feels seriously SICK and nearly pukes, her eyes are now cobalt blue (which is freaky because her name is Jen Cobalt and I only realized the color thing like a month after it happened XD)

They escape and go back home. Jekyll checks on Jen one night and she's floating above her bed while sleeping, so they guess that something's up. He woke her and she fell down once she realized that she had been hovering. After that they noticed that her hair started growing black from the roots, the same color as Origin's.

Side note: Jen's hair has changed SO MUCH. It was originally light brown and curly, then it when straight from the chemicals and started growing black and very fast. She grew it out quite long in an attempt to keep her original hair color, but eventually gave up, cut it short, and bleached her bangs to make herself look different than Origin or something. At one point she dyed it back to her original colors to piss him off. And one time he slipped stuff into her shampoo that made all her hair hot neon pink. Consequently he woke up with completely bleached hair and eyebrows not too long after.

Time passes and she tries to train her new abilities, having no idea of their breadth or limits... I think this is around when Adam comes to visit, he has appointments with Dr. Jekyll from time-to-time but he's not home and Jen answers the door. It's raining so it's not odd that he has an umbrella right then. Seeing as the Doctor was not in Adam was all polite and said he would come back later, I THINK that Jen invites him in anyways and they get to talking over some cocoa or tea or whatever.

Adam actually likes to write novels, though he has never shown them to anyone. Jen reads some and gives him high praise, as an aspiring actress she can recognize a good story when she sees one.

Uhhh... stuuuff haaappens... Well, anyways, Adam and Jen become like best friends, really good friends, I swear it looked like they were dating, doesn't help Adam was a shameless flirt with her. They both took care of Fredrick, giving him much loves and they even took naps or had sleep overs all in the same bed. They also got into a huge closet of costumes, that was a fun one.

Also while walking with Adam one day the usual miscreants that harass him showed up and started calling Jen names too like 'witch' after she got fed up with them and sent rocks into them with her abilities, throwing mud and the like. While Adam had never retaliated before, he stepped in front of Jen and pulled a sword from the base of his umbrella, threatening them to leave her alone.

Anyways one day Hyde somehow got Jen playing Truth or Dare with him, daaaaangerous considering who she played opposite to. She chose dare, and Hyde said she had to go kiss the Origin (who had been only lightly harassing them and had not done anything HUGELY wrong to them lately.) The alternative was to eat ten maggots, and since she knew that one of those things had not been on garbage...

Origin's mildly amused and surprised to see Jen, since she had never come willingly and never alone. He's an arrogant git and does not attempt to stop her as she approaches, she cuts him off from some snarky comment by grabbing the front of his lab coat and hauling him down for a kiss. Then she shoves him away and shouts "This means NOTHING!" and stalks right back out.

Even after she had left Origins stands there like an idiot, completely stunned and staring at the front doors. Then one of his clones leaned over and is like "Hey, she's pretty cute." Then he snaps and tears the clone to pieces. When Jen gets home Hyde's like 'hey, how did it go?' She glares daggers at him and just keeps on stomping up to her room.

Side Note: Jen has a mirror above her bed, and somehow it was made into a portal into the Origin's fortress, like passing through window. I forget why he did it, probably just to bug the heck out of her. Anyway she's tried taking it down, breaking it, and covering it with a sheet. Never works for long. Except the time she took a picture of her empty room, blew it up, and taped it over the mirror, that fooled Origin for a few days.

Anyhoo, when she enters her room she finds one of Origin's clones standing there, "Hey Jen! Wanna kiss again?" Then Origin flying tackles the clone from 'off-screen' and rips that one apart too, gears and fluids flying passed where she can see. Then he stands up, covering in blood and oil, and just kind of stands there like a retard. Needless to say, Jen turned and left.

It's kinda awkward after that. You see, Origin had been trying to perfect himself over the years, and had been removing what he considered 'weaker' emotions from himself. One he forgot, never really worrying about it, was Lust. That one was activated by this event, grew, made him all SORTS of freaky stalker to Jen, then started hauling back other deleted emotions.

There is a lot of stuff that went on in here, included more hate by Jen to Origin and his misguided attempt to get attention. He was like a kindergardenter with a penchant for killing and no social training.

During this time Jen would get close to Adam just to piss Origin off, and that caused the bad effect of causing Origin to try and murder Adam. Sitting on him and holding his head underwater. Jen discovered this before it was too late, thankfully, and she actually used her developing psychic abilities to snap Origin's neck from a good distance away across the small body of water. This didn't KILL Origin, but it paralyzed him for a time at least where he had to think about why Jen would do that. He backed off for a while.

Hmm... There are other things... OH!

Jen actually willingly went to Origin to get some training on how to use her psychic abilities because she was afraid of hurting one of her friends. But she knew they would worry, with good reason, so she kept it a secret, sometimes lying. Fredrick suspected I think.

Anyways, during one sparring match Origin misjudged her reaction time and ended up throwing her into a wall. He kind of started to freak out because her head was bleeding and she was not waking up. Oh noes! Origin does his best to bandage her and takes her into the White room. For some reason in his entire fortress, he has this one bedroom and I don't think he even uses, but it's all white and fluffy I think. He puts her in the bed there and she eventually wakes up.

He starts to explain what happened a bit and explain that he had fixed her up, expecting to be shouted at or accused of trying it kill her. But Jen just sits there and smiles with a 'oh, that was nice of you.' Heh, Aaaa~neeesia! Origin's all blushin' because Jen forgot that she hated him or even who he was. Origin viewed this as a second chance and tried to be a sweet and good as he could possibly be while keeping her in his fortress. He even lied when her friends came asking if he had seen her.

This went on for a month, and seeing this side of Origin little Jen started to crush on him. Also when he introduced himself he called himself Aaron, that is his real name. The Origin was a title he had given himself.

Fredrick got a hold of this freaky book that gave him supernatural powers at some point, and used its magic to find Jen. Yadda yadda something I don't quite remember, and bam her memories are back. Now Jen's horribly confused because she had memories of both hating Origin's guts and falling in love with Aaron, who are the same person.

Stuff gets more complicated after than because it's not a pure her hating him loving relationship anymore.

Uhhh... uhhh... more stuff happens, Lute kidnaps people because he's a rival Mad Scientist that hates Origin and wants to make him suffer so tries to kill the people he assumes are close to him. Jen ends up saving them all.

Oh! We find out that Origin had a bad childhood that turned him into the twisted person he is today, no parents and a Godfather that got him to hate humanity and try to turn them both into perfect beings with machinery instead of fleshy squishy stuff that could fail.

Yes... there's still so much more, but that should allow you folks to have SOME idea of the story... whew... this took friggin' HOURS...

Oh Origin you have such a handsome, manly face. <3_<3 And I love the folds in his trench coat, and also on her shirt. D: The way the wrinkles fit with the outline, and just how they look in general. 'Tis nice.
